Local website Fleur de Lit, www.fleurdelit.com, has partnered with Pearl Wine Co. to bring a brand new literary series to mid-city! Join us as we kick off “Reading Between the Wines” on Wednesday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. with local authors George Bishop (The Night of the Comet), David Armand (Harlow), and Chuck Hustmyre (The Axman of New Orleans).
“Reading Between the Wines” will feature local authors on the first Wednesday of the month (generally) at 6:00 p.m. at Pearl Wine Co. Pearl is located at 3700 Orleans Ave. in the American Can Company. Local authors will discuss and read from their work and sign their books. We may throw other fun activities in as well!
Maple Street Book Shop will be on hand to sell books. On Wednesdays, Pearl Wine Co. offers a selection of wines for $5 a glass and a food pop up. The New Orleans Public Library Mid-City Branch is also located in the American Can Company, so stop by if you have some time!
